The presentation of the English-language book by Matthew Karanian, and titled Historic Armenia After 100 Years, was held Friday at the Embassy of Armenia in the United States, and under the auspices of Ambassador Tigran Sargsyan.

The book presents 125 photos of the Armenian monuments, which Karanian had taken in Van, Ani, Kars, and several other historical Armenian regions in eastern Turkey in the last almost twenty years, and the history of these monuments.

Speaking at the event, Matthew Karanian presented some details about his research, the history of various historical Armenian monuments before and after the Armenian Genocide, and his contacts with the local residents.
