Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry met in Sochi.
They are expected to lay wreaths at the Memorial to fallen soldiers in Sochi.
The officials will discuss situation in Ukraine, Yemen, Iran and Syria.
As reported earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with John Kerry during the day.
