Nagorno-Karabakh develops bilateral relations with countries and subjects.
Davit Babayan, Spokesperson of the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), stated the aforesaid commenting, at the request of Armenian News-NEWS.am, on Azerbaijan’s nervous reaction to the NKR President’s recent visit to France.
“Nagorno-Karabakh develops bilateral relations with countries and subjects; this is one of the main directions of the NKR foreign policy,” Babayan noted.
The Karabakh official recalled that these directions are three in number: Resolution of the Karabakh conflict, international recognition of the NKR, and development of bilateral relations.
“Moreover, they are not linked to each other,” Babayan added.
At the same time, the NKR presidential spokesperson suggested that Azerbaijan’s aforesaid nervous reaction is due to the money it has wasted in vain. In his words, this country spends a lot of money on anti-Armenian propaganda and bribing officials.
“Moreover, some of it [i.e. the money] remains in the pockets of Azerbaijani officials,” Davit Babayan noted. “But you can’t buy friendship. And no matter how much money is spent, it will be a senseless spending.”
