The Declaration adopted by the Eastern Partnership Summit participants suggests, among other things, support to the territorial integrity of Ukraine. The text of the document is available here.

The document underscores the importance of the political settlement of the crisis on the basis of respect to Ukraine’s independence and sovereignty. It also urges to implement Minsk agreements, concluded in September 2014, as well as the package of measures for their implementation of February 2015. Besides, the document touches on the role of the OSCE in normalizing the conflict.

The stance over the annexation of Crimea to Russia is confirmed only by the EU members.

The Declaration also refers to the plane crash of Boeing 777 in Ukraine’s Donetsk Province on July 17, 2014.  “The Summit participants call upon all parties to fully cooperate with the international investigations and criminal proceedings to hold to account those who are responsible for the downing of MH17.”
