YEREVAN. – Armenia's Justice Ministry has studied 2,525 applications on the change of names over a year, the report said.

According to the report from April 1, 2014 to April 1 2015, a total of 1,663 marriages with foreign citizens have been registered.

During the same period, 10 applications had been received on international child abduction. Overall, 66 cases of child adoption by foreigners were discussed.

The report said 18, 517 marriages and 4,369 divorces have been registered, while 43,051 birth certificates have been granted.
