YEREVAN. – The 24th meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan (Armenia) All-Armenian Fund was convened Wednesday at the Reception House of the Government of Armenia, in capital city Yerevan.

The event was chaired by Chairman of the Board, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.

Members of the Fund Board of Trustees discussed agenda issues, within the framework of which Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Executive Director Ara Vardanyan was reaffirmed at this position for another three years.

Next, Vardanyan presented the 2014 activity report of the fund’s Executive Board.

Member of the Audit Committee of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Board, Vahe Jazmadarian, resigned from his position. President Serzh Sargsyan thanked Jazmadarian for his long and useful activities, and awarded him with the First Degree Medal for Services Rendered to the Motherland.

In addition, the Board of Trustees presented the Benefactor Member Certificate to the president/chairman of the Armenia Fund, Inc., the United States Western Region affiliate of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, Antranig Baghdassarian, who so far has donated about US$ 900,000 to the projects of this fund.

Next, the President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR; Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, delivered a report on the objective of the Telethon 2015 of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.

Subsequently, President Serzh Sargsyan delivered remarks, and presented his views on the report that was presented and the recommendations that were made.
