During the session of the Committee on the Election of Judges to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), to be held in Paris on June 9-10, the question on selection of candidates from 5 countries, including Armenia and Azerbaijan, will be discussed, the Committee member Arpine Hovhannisyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

Hovhannisyan said she hasn’t yet familiarized herself with the conclusion of the expert Committee of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers; it’s a confidential document, which she will become familiar with on the day of the Committee session.

At the PACE session, to be held on June 22-26, the delegates will elect a judge from Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan said.
