YEREVAN. – An Armenian villager injured in a tornado in Kotayk Region has undergone a surgery, head of intensive care department said.
“There is positive movement, but the patient is still in a serious condition,” Samvel Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, adding that the 44-year-old man is no longer connected to a ventilator.
Earlier Ashot Gharibyan, resident of Gegashen village, underwent splenectomy.
Another shepherd injured in a tornado remains in hospital, the third man has been discharged.
Three shepherds were injured as a result of tornado in Kotayk Region of Armenia on Saturday.
