YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 477.19/$1 in Armenia on Tuesday; this is down by AMD 0.86 from Monday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 524.24 (up by AMD 2.35), that of one British pound was AMD 728.48 (up by AMD 0.94), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.96 (down by AMD 0.02), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 254.83, AMD 18,408.88 and AMD 17,014.29, respectively.

Tuesday’s trading totaled USD 3.5 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, and the transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 477/$1.
