YEREVAN. – Armenia's Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met with Jozef Sincak, chairman of Czech Airlines board of directors to discuss reopening of Prague-Yerevan-Prague direct flights.
The representatives of Czech Airlines said the company had completed privatization and is ready to discuss possibility of resuming direct flights.
Prime Minister Abrahamyan underscored importance of the need to resume the flights and expressed Armenia's readiness to provide assistance. Resumption of flights will contribute to the development of tourism and strengthening of Armenia-Czech Republic partnership, he added.
The interlocutors agreed to organize a visit of the Czech Airlines leadership to Armenia to discuss the possibilities on the ground, as the Czech side is willing to resume direct flights.
