YEREVAN. – A mother and son were struck by lightning, on Wednesday in Vedi town of Armenia’s Ararat Province. 

On the same day, Anahit, 54, and Arshak Kocharyan, 35, were transferred from Vedi hospital to “Erebouni” Medical Center in capital city Yerevan.

Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed from the hospital that both patients are in stable condition, they are conscious, and their injuries are not life-threatening.

We managed to find out that the mother and son were struck by lightning while collecting nuts. We also learned that the woman’s dress was completely burnt.

The lightning victims are the relatives of Vedi Police Chief Sevan Kocharyan.
