According to initial results, Vahagn Gevorgyan has been elected Mayor of the City of Abovyan in Armenia’s Kotayk Region.
Gevorgyan is the assistant of Prosperous Armenia Party ex-Chairman, MP and oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan, and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia also supported Gevorgyan’s candidacy in Sunday’s local elections.
