Istanbul Armenian activist Garo Paylan, who has been elected into parliament in Sunday’s Grand National Assembly election in Turkey, wrote a respective comment in his Twitter account.

“Goodness prevailed,” Paylan tweeted.

He also posted his photograph taken with Selahattin Demirtas, the co-chair of Turkey’s pro-Kurdish “Peoples’ Democratic Party” (HDP).

As reported earlier, Paylan—who was nominated by the HDP—as well as Istanbul Armenian journalist Markar Esayan—who was nominated by the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP)—, and Istanbul Armenian woman Selina Ozuzun Dogan—who was nominated by the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP)—have been elected members of the Turkish parliament.
