YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 476.24/$1 in Armenia on Monday; this is down by AMD 0.62 from the previous day.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 529.91 (down by AMD 7.23), that of one British pound was AMD 725.17 (down by AMD 5.43), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.47 (down by AMD 0.08), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 252.51, AMD 18,029.73 and AMD 16,864.54, respectively.

Monday’s trading totaled USD 5,050,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.27/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 475/$1.
