As a result of the parliamentary elections held in Turkey on June 7, the Peoples’ Democratic Party gathered 13,11 per cent, overcoming the 10 per cent threshold and receiving 80 deputy mandates.

Despite the continuous efforts made to cast aspersions on the party during the entire election campaign, it received 6 million 50 thousand votes.

The Peoples’ Democratic Party recognizes the Armenian Genocide and has continuously urged Turkey’s authorities to face its history and recognize the Genocide.
