TBILISI. – Liana and Svetlana Yegiazarova, who died as a result of the devastating flood in Georgia’s capital city of Tbilisi, were sisters, and they were 22 and 24 years old. Diocese of the Armenian Church of Georgia informed the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
They added that since these young women had no relatives, the diocese will conduct their interment.
As for the other two Armenian women—Nana Tilishvili-Yeghiazarova and Zhanna Yeghiazarova—who also lost their lives in this flood, their relatives will organize the funeral.
At this moment there is no information on what these women were engaged in Tbilisi.
The devastating flood in Georgia’s capital city occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, as heavy rains caused the River Vere to burst its banks.
