YEREVAN. – The Yerevan State University (YSU) Board of Trustees reelected Professor Aram Simonyan as YSU Rector.
The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, informed about the aforementioned in his Facebook account.
The contest for the vacant post of YSU Rector was held Friday at the university, and solely Simonyan had applied to partake in this contest.
Aram Simonyan is the YSU Rector since 2006, and a ruling Republican Party of Armenia member since 1998.
