YEREVAN. – The Rescue Service of Armenia received information on Saturday at 3:19am.
Accordingly, a road accident had occurred on the Vanadzor-Dilijan motorway, there were injured, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a car had gone off road at the aforesaid motorway for yet unknown reasons, and rolled down about seven meters into a pit.
As a result, Lermontovo village residents V. Sh. (born in 19970, I. Sh. (born in 1992), V. K. (born in 1991), and M. G. (born in 1986) had sustained injuries, and they were stuck in the vehicle.
The fire and rescue workers took the injured out of the car, and took them to an ambulance on a stretcher.
The injured were taken to the Vanadzor city medical center.
M. G., however, died en route to the hospital.
Doctors say the others are in critical condition.
