YEREVAN. – A three-day NATO PA Rose-Roth seminar that brought together an unprecedented number of delegates from NATO member states is over.

Delivering a closing speech, head of the Armenian parliamentary delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Koryun Nahapetyan said that the rhetoric questioning the OSCE Minsk Group format can be dangerous, and the NATO Parliamentary Assembly should also be vigilant on this matter.

According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group is the only viable format that also provides peace in the region.

“The closed Armenian-Turkish border creates tension and is not promoting peace. We need to encourage deputies from Turkey to promote the opening of the border so that NATO did not have closed borders with Armenia,” he resumed.
