YEREVAN. – Building of the third Armenia-Iran electricity transfer line will begin next week. 

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, stated the aforesaid at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

In his words, the relevant documents were signed a few days ago with Iran.

“I’m confident that the further development of cooperation will bring along a growth in trade and an intensification of economic ties,” added the PM. “Iran is an important and reliable country for Armenia; new prospects have opened.”
