Early parliamentary elections are a strong likelihood, said Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, at a press conference on Thursday, reported TRT Haber.

And with respect to the prospects for forming a coalition government, the Turkish PM noted that they are determined to continue the task given to them by the public.

“When discussing the results we have reached within the framework of coalition talks, neither should anyone be pessimistic nor some circles should turn to any opportunism,” said Davutoglu. “There are profound differences of opinion in some domains, but the dialogue should be continued with mutual understanding.”

Although the parliamentary elections in Turkey were conducted on June 7, the country’s authorities are still unable to form a coalition government.
