The Ambassador of Armenia to Poland, Edgar Ghazaryan, paid a visit to Zamość city, and met with Mayor Andrzej Wnuk.

First, the ambassador expressed his gratitude to the mayor for the caring disposition toward the unique Armenian cultural heritage in Zamość.

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the opportunities and prospects for decentralized cooperation between the communities in Armenia and Poland, and a respective engagement by Zamość.

Next, Ambassador Ghazaryan toured the central part of the old town of Zamość, and visited the “Arsenał” Museum and got familiarized with the history of this city. 

The diplomat also paid a visit to the Armenian street in the city center, and the houses where a large number of Armenians had once lived.

On the same day, Edgar Ghazaryan attended and delivered remarks at the official opening of a new Armenian exhibition at the Zamość Museum.

The ambassador, in his remarks, noted that he speaks proudly about the centuries-old friendship between the Armenian and Polish nations, and that Zamość city and this exhibition are a living and dazzling proof of this friendship.
