YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Tuesday at 8:47am.
Accordingly, a traffic accident had occurred in Norapat village in the Armavir Province, there was injured, and assistance was needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that an automobile—with driver N. Sh., 57—had hit a natural gas pipe and overturned on the Norapat-Armavir motorway.
Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival at the scene, however, N. Sh. was removed from the car by local efforts.
But the driver died while being transferred to the Armavir town medical center.
