YEREVAN. - Theoretically it’s possible that other Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) members may also go bankrupt, Minister - Chief of Armenia’s Government Staff Davit Harutyunyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am today before the RPA Council session, responding to the question on whether besides Ashot Aghababyan other RPA oligarchs may also go bankrupt.
“RPA is a large party; it may have different opinions, which may not coincide, and this is natural. I can’t say why people may go bankrupt, but theoretically everything is possible,” he said.
RPA member and MP Ashot Aghababyan has been experiencing serious financial issues for a long time. The latter has recently announced that Yerevan’s “Hrazdan” stadium may be put for sale in the future.
