YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Friday received his counterpart from Senegal Mankeur Ndiaye who is in Yerevan for the 31st meeting of the OIF Ministerial Conference.

Armenia attaches great importance to the development of relations with the African countries and Senegal can play a role of a bridge, Minister Nalbandian said.

The sides noted importance of forming contractual basis and holding consultations between the foreign ministries, as well as cooperation within international agencies.

They also touched upon opportunities to promote interaction on culture and education.

Minister Nalbandian presented the main foreign policy directions and priorities as well as efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group in finding settlement of Karabakh conflict.
