YEREVAN. – Ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Spokesperson Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also Vice President of the National Assembly, has been totally isolated from the activities of the RPA “Yes” headquarters for the December 6 referendum on constitutional amendments, reported Haykakan Zhamanak daily.

“Sharmazanov is not in any way included in the headquarters led by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

“It is not a secret that the PM and Sharmazanov do not like each other, to say the least.

“According to the RPA members, the isolating of Sharmazanov from the ‘Yes’ headquarters, however, is not the result of solely this attitude, but also of the sex scandal linked to the name of several RPA members this summer,” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
