YEREVAN. – The American dollar’s (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 472.58/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.72 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 518.14 (down by AMD 3.27), that of one British pound was AMD 721.68 (down by AMD 0.50), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 7.35 (up by AMD 0.06), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

In addition, one gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 239.7, AMD 17,684.43 and AMD 15,003.77, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 5 million at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 473/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 473/$1.
