YEREVAN. - The international community must be more targeted and precise in its estimates, and the statements which put an equal sign don’t contribute to the enhancement of peace, Vice Speaker of parliament and the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov said after the RPA executive body session today, referring to the visit of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs to Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, as well as the statements made by them.

“We realize that there is a political and diplomatic vocabulary but if Azerbaijan is periodically violating the rules, and the name of the violator is not voiced, concerns arise that this violating side will proceed with its destructive policy,” Sharmazanov said. Nevertheless, according to him, any visit gives a new hope for continuing the negotiation process, Azerbaijan being the only obstacle to the talks.

Touching on the meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, the RPA Spokesman said  no precise decision has been taken with that respect at the moment.
