YEREVAN. – The 2016 State Budget of Armenia likewise has a clear social orientation.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan noted the abovementioned at Monday’s joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly. 

Abrahamyan added, however, that the fiscal developments in the entire region show one thing: In the context of global structural changes and tense geopolitical developments, pledging an economic growth as well as immediate improvements in all aspects of public welfare is a populist but dishonest approach.
