YEREVAN. - 8 passengers, all of them Armenian citizens, died as a result of the tragic crash of the Armenian bus in Russia Tuesday. All of them had left for Russia as migrant workers to “bring home the bacon.”

Their bodies will be transferred to Armenia with special flight on Thursday evening.

Hrach Artavazd Badalyan (b. 1981), from Geghamavan village of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province. Hrach’s wife is expecting the second child.

Gagik Armenak Manukyan (b. 1961թ.), also from Geghamavan village. He has two children. Hrach and Varuzh Stepanyan had left for Russia together.

Varuzh Stepan Stepanyan (b. 1962թ.), resident of Charentsavan town of Armenia’s Kotayk province. He was a close friend of Hrach and Gagik.

Spartak Tsolak Nalbandyan (b. 1947թ.), from Gandzakar village of Armenia’s Tavush province. He had left for Moscow to visit his three sons and was returning to his wife leaving alone in the village.

Garnik Gurgen Hakobyan (b. 1961.), from Hartagyugh community of Armenia’s Lori province. He was returning with his son after working abroad. His son is in hospital.

Artashes Avetik Hovhannisayn (b. 1980թ.), from Nerkin Getashen village of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province. He was the father of two minors and was earning money for his fanmily by working abroad.  

Hayk Zhora Hovhannisyan (b. 1970), from Sevan town of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province. He was a cook and father of two children.

Hakob Ludwig Alikanyan (b. 1962), from Dilijan city of Armenia’s Tavush province. He was returning after working abroad.
