Department of Armenia’s Tavush province Investigative Committee launched a criminal case into the shootings at the car of a Russian citizen in Armenia’s territory from the Azerbaijani military positions.

At about 3:07 pm Thursday, unidentified persons from the Azerbaijani military positions fired shots from weapons of different calibers at the truck DAF XF 95, passing across the border section of Baghanis-Voskepar interstate highway. Consequently, the truck engine was damaged.

The same day, a criminal case was launched on charges of an attempt to kill, as well as intentional infliction of harm to the property committed by publicly dangerous actions on the ground of national hatred.
