YEREVAN. - The day will come when the Minsk Group itself will give a targeted assessment, Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said, Azatutyun reports.

Referring to the statements of the OSCE Minsk Group disseminated after the ceasefire violations, which almost always contain general calls to refrain from using force, Ohanyan said that one day those statements will be targeted.

“I think the day will come when the Minsk Group Co-Chairs will make a targeted assessment addressed to the violating side. We’re striving to maintain conditions of peace, and have even repeatedly carried out corresponding work on developing mechanisms for creating one-sided trust climate. We are carrying out one-sided investigations, but I hope the day will come when the trust mechanisms are formed thanks to dialogue and mutual arrangements,” the Minister said.
