At least 16 Yemeni government soldiers have been killed by a roadside bomb in the province of Marib, east of the capital city Sanaa, military sources told Reuters news agency.
The sources said the bomb also wounded six soldiers.
It is not yet clear who could have placed the explosive device, reported Gazeta.ru news site of Russia.
