YEREVAN. – Venezuela’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Juan Vicente Paredes Torrealba—whose diplomatic residence is in Moscow—, on Monday presented a copy of her credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian.

Nalbandian welcomed the guest and wished him success in  his diplomatic mission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. He also expressed the hope that the ambassador will have his important contribution to the development of Armenia-Venezuela relations.

The Venezuelan diplomat, for his part, affirmed that he will do his utmost to strengthen and expand cooperation between the two friendship countries.

Subsequently, FM Nalbandian and Ambassador Paredes Torrealba discussed cooperation between Armenia and Venezuela in a variety of domains, and the avenues for the expansion of their legal framework.

The interlocutors also attached importance to cooperation within international organizations, and establishment of parliamentary ties.
