STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR, or Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Thursday held a press conference at the headquarters of the Regnum news agency in Moscow, and for the leading mass media representatives of Russia.

The Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that Sahakyan presented the state-building process, socioeconomic development, and foreign policy of Artsakh, and also responded to the questions posed by the journalists in attendance.

In his remarks, the NKR President stressed that Russia has a special place on the foreign policy agenda of Artsakh, and touched upon a wide array of historical, cultural, geopolitical, and human relations. 

President Sahakyan highlighted such contacts, and considered them important in terms of developing bilateral relations, acquiring objective information on Artsakh, and establishing practical ties.
