YEREVAN. - News on a new process with regard to Karabakh conflict is a myth and has nothing to do with reality, Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice-President of Armenian parliament and ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) spokesman, told Armenian NEWS – NEWS.am after the RPA Executive body session today.

Referring to the information disseminated by Russian media outlets after Russian FM Sergey Lavrov’s visit to Armenia, according to which the concession of liberated territories to Azerbaijan was allegedly discussed, Sharmazanov said:  “The opinion of Armenian authorities on Karabakh conflict is very precise and unalterable. The issue should be resolved according to the three well-known principles. Nagorno-Karabakh can’t have lower status than the one it actually has now. The issue must have an exclusively peaceful settlement,” Sharmazanov said.

He also said that at the RPA Executive Body session reference was made to the work process of the constitutional amendments headquarters, and a number of internal and external issues.
