YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report on Saturday at 5:50am.
Accordingly, a person had fallen into a canyon alongside the Vanadzor-Alaverdi motorway in the Lori Province, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
The fire and rescue workers brought Russian citizen V. N., 40, out of the around-20-meter-high canyon.
The person was taken to the Vanadzor city medical center.
