YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations of Armenia received information on Monday at 3:07am.

Accordingly, a truck, which was loaded with nitrogen fertilizers, was on fire on the Meghri-Kajaran motorway.

Three fire and rescue squads as well as a water truck from the Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine” Closed Joint Stock Company were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that the transmission of a truck, which was carrying 20 tons of ammonium nitrate, was on fire on the aforesaid road.

But no one was injured.

The fire was extinguished at 6:07am.

The transmission of the vehicle and the ammonium nitrate inside the truck, however, were completely burned up.
