YEREVAN. – Armenia’s first ever Ambassador to Panama, Grigor Hovhannissyan—whose diplomatic residence is in Mexico City—, presented his credentials to President Juan Carlos Varela, and a copy of his credentials to Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs Isabel Saint Malo de Alvarado of Panama.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, subsequently, the Armenian diplomat had a tête-à-tête with these two top Panamanian officials.
The President of Panama wished Ambassador Hovhannissyan success during his mission.
Grigor Hovhannissyan, for his part, assured that he will work with great zeal to develop bilateral relations.
In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
