STEPANAKERT. – In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan.

The NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the monitoring will be held on Thursday, and in the direction of Hadrut, near Horadiz settlement.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, and by Colonel Andrey Barashkin (Russia), a representative of the OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG).

The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in holding this monitoring and to ensure the safety of the OSCE Mission members.
