Somatic abnormalities have not been found in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) citizen Andranik Grigoryan, who returned from Azerbaijan on Wednesday.

The NKR Republican Medical Center, where Grigoryan underwent a medical examination, informed the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“Andranik Grigoryan was examined by us yesterday [i.e. Wednesday],” said Dr. Alen Poghosyan of this hospital. “Somatic abnormalities were not found.”

NKR Defense Army conscript, Private Andranik Grigoryan (born in 1991), had crossed over to Azerbaijan on March 22, leaving weapons and ammunition behind.

On the next day, Azerbaijani websites had violated international humanitarian law and released footage of Grigoryan’s “crossing over” and subsequent “interview.” The NKR Defense Army, however, had released a statement noting that the said footage was fully staged.

And on Wednesday, November 18, the Azerbaijani side handed the Armenian military serviceman over to NKR.
