YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 481.84 $1 in Armenia on Thursday, a 0.07 point fall as compared to yesterday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 514.8 (up by AMD 0.17), that of one British pound was AMD 734.95 (up by AMD 0.76), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 7.42 (up by AMD 0.03), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 219.51, AMD 16,541,06, and AMD 13.074.84, respectively.

Sale and purchase transactions in the amount of 2 mln 930,000 AMD by average weighted exchange rate of 482,75 AMD $1 were registered  at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange Thursday. The closing rate constituted 482,75 AMD.
