STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 70 times, from Thursday to early Friday morning.

During this time, Azerbaijan fired more than 900 shots toward the Armenian military positions, and by way of different-caliber weaponry, including mortars, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.

Press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that, as a result of the appropriate actions taken by vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army, however, the “activeness” by the adversary was quelled.

The Armenian military position holders continue confidently carrying out their military task along the Line of Contact.
