Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian, who takes part in the work of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade, had a meeting today with the Finnish FM Timo Soini.  

During the meeting, the Armenian and Finnish FMs expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics in the Armenian-Finnish relations. They also discussed measures taken jointly with the view of developing bilateral relations, organization of high-level visits, replenishment of the legal and contractual framework, holding of consultations between the MFAs, as well as enhancement of cooperation in the framework of international organizations.  

Edward Nalbandian and Timo Soini also exchanged ideas on the Armenian-EU relations.

Upon the request of the Finnish FM, Nalbandian briefed the former on the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group aimed at the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.  

Timo Soinin invited his Armenian counterpart to visit Finland.
