YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 484.43 $1 in Armenia on Friday, a 0.16 point fall as compared to yesterday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 527.59 (up by AMD 15.81), that of one British pound was AMD 732.89 (up by AMD 9.20), the rate of one Russian ruble comprising AMD 7.18 (up by AMD 0.03), according to the Central Bank of Armenia press service.

One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 216.96, AMD 16.438.41, and AMD 13.160.69, respectively.

Sale and purchase transaction in the amount of $3.450.000 USD at average weighted exchange rate of 484.75 AMD $1 was registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange today. The closing rate constituted 484.75 AMD.
