STEPANAKERT. – Azerbaijan continues intensively violating the ceasefire, and with the use of rifle and mortar weapons, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense.

The adversary breached the truce along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces around 110 times, from Friday to early Saturday morning.

During this time Azerbaijan fired more than 1,600 shots at the Armenian military positions, and by way of rifle weaponry, mortars, and grenade launchers.

But vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army confidently control the entire frontline, and they carry out pre-emptive actions, if needed.
