Several people have thrown Molotov cocktails in the direction of the Turkish Cultural Center in France's Marseille, causing damage to the building, Parisien reports, citing the French police.

“Four Molotov cocktails were thrown at the building; three or four law-breakers escaped by a car; slight damage has been caused to the building,” the newspaper writes.

The police have not yet detained suspects on the given incident, RIA Novosti reports.

Local Turkish youth and Turkish workers, who work in Marseille suburbs and in the city, usually gather in the aforementioned cultural center.
