YEREVAN. – The oil prices have again fallen in the world market on Monday, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

“At midnight, one barrel of Brent type of [crude] oil was around 40 [US] dollars and 37 cents; this is the lowest oil price within the last 6 years.

“This has led to the Russian ruble to again show devaluation trends, which could have a negative impact also on the exchange rate of the dram [i.e. the national currency of Armenia],” Haykakan Zhamanak wrote.
