STEPANAKERT. - The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense has “launched yet another pearl.”

Commenting on the situation on the border upon the request of Yeni Müsavat, the Ministry spokesman accused the Armenian side of destabilizing the situation and carrying out destructive actions.  He also stated that only in November the Armenian side lost over 100 soldiers, but is concealing this information.

In response to these “pearls”, Karabakh Defense Ministry press-service disseminated a message, in which it noted that nobody is any longer surprised by the fact that Azerbaijan is periodically provoking escalation of situation. According to them, laying the blame for the situation escalation on the Armenian side is, to put it mildly, absurd.  

But the press-secretary of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry turns out to suffer from amnesia. Thus, the message disseminated by this authority on December 5 says that Armenians lost over 100 soldiers during the year. Now - after two days - the spokesman is stating that “only in November the Armenian side lost over 100 soldiers.” that is he contradicts himself.

According to Karabakh Defense Ministry, the statement of the Azerbaijani side is a cheap propaganda trick which has nothing to do with the reality, being the result of Azeris’ deformed imagination.

“The Defense Army always worked transparently, periodically informing about the situation,” Karabakh Ministry of Defense said.
