YEREVAN. - The Special Investigation Service (SIS) of Armenia has launched a criminal case into the interference with the fulfillment of journalist’s professional obligations.  

Correspondent of Radio Liberty Anush Mkrtchyan turned to the SIS, informing that last Sunday at about 1:00 pm she was implementing her powers near the “Yes” movement headquarters in Yerevan’s Komitas Avenue, when a man entered the headquarters and demanded to give him her camera and the chip.   

The same day, a woman approached her with the same demand in the same place. Then that very woman pushed the journalist and started offending her.

A criminal case has been launched into the incident.
